Villa Selva from the garden

Enjoy every moment, at your own pace.

Your holiday home, even for a few days.

You will love this place. Villa Selva is one of those places that restore the spirit. In the warmer months, when nature bursts into colour, birdsong fills the peaceful countryside. In the stillness of the night, you may hear crickets or a solitary frog by the pond. Early in the morning, with a little luck, you might spot a squirrel, a hare or a young deer wandering into the park. In autumn, the colours of the woods are enchanting. And in the colder months, the warmth of the house is a pleasure that may surprise you.

Agrate Conturbia

Agrate Conturbia is a small village in the Novara area, surrounded by woods and fields. It has around 1,500 inhabitants and is just a 25-minute drive from Malpensa airport. Golf lovers come for the 27 holes at Golf Club Castelconturbia. As early as 1898, this land was home to the only golf course in Piedmont, when there were just two in Italy. There are also golf clubs nearby in Bogogno, Arona and Stresa. Just five minutes by car from Villa Selva is La Torbiera Wildlife Park, a protected natural area partly open to visitors. Founded in 1977 to protect endangered species, it offers an unforgettable walk around the wetland. In the village, visit the Romanesque baptistery, dating from the 12th century, and the parks around the castles of Agrate and Conturbia. Local restaurants offer traditional dishes such as paniscia, a risotto with beans, cabbage and salame della duja. Try it with a local Nebbiolo-based wine: Gattinara, Ghemme, Boca and Sizzano are reds well known to connoisseurs.
